I’m a Seattle‑based reef builder and naturalist who blends a maker’s craft with a lifelong love of living systems. Raised between Silicon Valley and rich family traditions of design, music, and hands‑on building, I grew up restoring and rehoming reef aquariums, rehabilitating reptiles, and turning salvaged finds into resilient, low‑maintenance displays. Travel, marine exploration, and early experiences with aquaria showed me how small, well‑designed ecosystems can calm, educate, and reconnect people with nature — so I started Wise Tides to bring that experience to homes and workplaces. My work focuses on durable, sustainable reef systems that prioritize simple care, reliable engineering, and thoughtful storytelling. I build, install, and maintain tanks that invite curiosity, create calm, and celebrate biodiversity.
